General information about education and teaching at ETH »»
The laboratory offers lectures (H.-A. Synal, M. Döbeli) and lab courses in nuclear physics related application. Additionally, lectures about dating methods and AMS are offered within the Earth Sciences Department (I. Hajdas, S. Ivy-Ochs, M. Christl).
All scientific staff with a physics degree (a total number of 10 to 12 persons) serve as teaching assistants within the ETH Physics Department.
In addition, the staff of the laboratory supervises and supports a large number of students for diploma/master and Ph.D. theses in physics, as well as students from various departments of ETH (chemistry, materials sciences, earth sciences, environmental sciences) and other universities, who are applying AMS and other ion beam techniques in their research projects.
