My PhD revolves around three fundamental research questions:
1. When did the LGM end in the Alps?
2. How big where glaciers during the Holocene?
3. How much bedrock did glaciers erode?
I will address these questions at carefully chosen sites across the Alps using cosmogenic nuclide surface exposure dating. Analyses of 10Be concentrations will be combined with 36Cl and in-situ 14C to investigate complex geomorphological settings.
