Annual Reports

Since 2009, when a new organizational structure for the Laboratory of Ion Beam Physics (LIP) has been implemented, we issue a traditional annual report.

These reports give a comprehensive overview of the laboratory’s activities and the outreach of our scientific capabilities into the network of external research groups we are collaborating with. The large number of contributions from our partners demonstrates the vast variety of applications of ion beam technologies for accelerator mass spectrometry as well as for the research activities in the materials sciences. It indicates the highly trans-​disciplinary nature of our primary activities and shows the strong embedding of the laboratory into rapidly growing research fields.

In the age of social media, we do get an overwhelming variety of information electronically, and also these documents are made available as .pdf files. Nevertheless, we decided have reporting in the old fashion style as a printed version.
